Sr. SW Engineer Manager for Global eCommerce – Seattle

Highly Visible Role! 

As the Sr. Software Engineer Manager, you will lead a dynamic, entrepreneurial team within the advertising space of a cloud based digital Global Product and Solutions Management organization. Service to APAC, EMEA, and NA and quickly expanding eCommerce exposure to other marketplaces!

We are partnering directly with senior hiring executives to identify a top performing senior technical leader! Your focus? To improve the engineering processes. Create seamless automation from coding to deployment. You will work closely with senior leadership and customers on solutions to problems and delivering effective product roadmaps. Systems to submit Ad selection and bidding. Ability to switch between strategic and tactical initiatives to meet technical, business, and customer experience goals.

Some of what we’re looking for:

  • Drive initiatives through the entire stack — Customer facing features, to algorithmic innovation
  • Datasets that the back-end services consume
  • Ad Search Engine – fast lookup system to reduce the number of eligible ads from thousands to a few hundred to select the right ad
  • Machine learning and data analysis
  • Advertising technologies such as Real-Time Bidding (RTB)
  • DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, Publishers and Advertisers
  • Experience in connected TV device or mobile app development
  • Experience managing engineer teams

  • SQL skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques, MS Power BI, C#, .NET API
  • Exposure to various data storage technologies
  • Build cloud native data platforms – AWS and/or Azure
  • Modeling, Data Ingestion Layer, Management, Data Scaling
  • Collaboration across many different stakeholder disciplines
  • Self-driven, ready to suggest and share solutions!
